down at the screen,
hoping to see your name,

...not knowing,
how you truly feel,

I sit here looking at your pictures,
wondering if this is all I'll ever have,
some memories,
a few words,
and a handful of photographs,

I know I'm not the best thing for you,
and I know I never will be,
because I know,
that you deserve,
so much better than me,

you deserve someone,
who can give you the stars,
make your life better,
complete you,
and compliment who you are,

all I have is love,
no money,
no wealth,
nothing to offer,
besides myself,

yet I feel that myself,
just may not be enough,
with me you'd never,
have any,
fancy stuff,

no cars nor jewels,
only struggling and hardship,
and you truly deserve,
so much more,

When I tell you I love you,
It's not just words to say,
It's how I feel about you,
all day every day,

when I tell you I miss you,
it's because I truly do,
I've missed you for so long,
I wonder if you miss me too,

when I tell you you're beautiful,
I capitalize the B,
to accentuate how truly,
beautiful you are to me,

when I tell you you're important,
it's because you really are,
you were my shining light,
when I was trapped in the dark,

when I tell you that you're my heart,
it's because five years ago,
I not only fell in love with you,
but because you touched my soul,

when I tell you I love you,
it's because I truly do,
I could never love another,
because my heart belongs to you.
